LWGC Family BBQ

To welcome everyone back to the new gymnastics session, the Club are holding a family barbeque on Saturday 29th of August at Lenzie Golf Club from 5pm -10pm.

There will be food, drink, and a disco with games for the kids.

Tickets are £4 for adults, £2 for children and £12 for a family (2 adults and 3 or 4 kids) and will be available from the first week of training (10th August).

We’d love to see you there. Its a great chance for the kids to have fun with their gym buddies outside of training while parents and carers can come along and socialise with  all the people you nod to in the corridor outside training every week!

Summer Display – Rehearsal

Please remember there is a full Summer Display rehearsal for all squads on Sunday (07/06/2015) from 9:00 till 11:30.

All gymnasts are asked to be there for the whole session.

Gymfest 2015!

Please remember that as Gymfest takes place this weekend (01/05-03/05) there will be no training on Friday or Sunday.

Gymnasts from the display and competitive squads taking part should have received an email with details of meeting times, hairstyles etc.

There are still some tickets available on the door for each session (apart from Sunday afternoon) should any gymnasts who are not competing want to support their club mates or just enjoy some high quality gymnastics displays.

LWGC are on at 19:40 on Friday, 16:20 on Saturday and 11:50 on Sunday.

Happy Easter!

Please remember there is no training on Easter Sunday (the 5th of April) but we return on  Monday the 6th and run as normal right through the holidays.

Enjoy your Easter Eggs – don’t eat them all at once!!

Training on Friday 6 March 2015

 

Due to an event in the hall on Friday 6 March, training will start at 6.30pm that evening.  Finishing times are not affected.

Easyfundraising

No training Easter Sunday

 

There will be no training on Easter Sunday (5 April) but gymnasts are invited to attend an alternative session on Friday 10 April from 6-7 pm. Apologies to Sunday Competitive gymnasts as at present there isn’t a mechanism to compensate with an alternative session but if an opportunity arises you will be notified.

Extraordinary General Meeting 19 February

 

The club will be holding an Extraordinary General Meeting on Thursday 19 February from 6-8pm, principally due to a proposed change to our corporate model.  The meeting will take place in the Kirkintilloch Leisure Centre conference room and all parents, carers and coaches are welcome to attend.  This is your chance to participate in the development of the club and have your say in its future.

Tickets for the Christmas Party

 

Tickets for the Christmas Party (Lenzie Rugby Club 12 December 7-10pm) will be on sale to LWGC gymnasts from 24 November and all family and friends are welcome.  Tickets will cost £10 per family (2 adults / 3 children), £3 per adult and £2 per child.  All children should be under the supervision of a suitable adult.  We will also soon be looking for donations to the Christmas hamper raffle prizes so look out for the list at pick up and drop off times in the next few weeks.
